Winnie Edna Warren, age 85, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 6, 2022, at her home.
She was the daughter of the late W.T. Warren, Jr. and Pauline Mitchell Warren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by five sisters and one brother.
Winnie was retired from Bristol Regional Hospital where she worked 37 years in the dietary department. She loved the Atlanta Braves and enjoyed ending each night with her “red pop” and ice cream.
Survivors include one brother, Raymond Warren (Linda); five sisters, Joyce Morris (Kenneth), Jo Warren, Pud Coalson (Bill), Sandy Woodward (Jim) and Susie Clatterbuck (Gary); several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service will be held at 8 p.m., Tuesday, March 8, 2022, in the Frost Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry A. Eggers and Pastor Roger O’Quinn officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 7:45 p.m., prior to the service. The committal service and burial will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday at Counts Cemetery in Brumley Gap. Family and friends will gather at the cemetery by 1:45 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Ray Warren, Justin Warren, Austin Warren, Darrell Warren, Jamie Widener and David Locke. Honorary pallbearers will be Brian Warren, Holden Locke, Doug Crabtree, Austin Owens and Marcus Combs.
The family will also be receiving friends anytime at her home.
