William Hull

William “Wythe” Hull, 72, of Abingdon, Va. passed away May 10, 2018 at Johnston Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Hull was born August 7, 1945 in Kingsport Tn. to the late Richard and Eleanor Hull. He was an avid outdoorsman who also enjoyed gardening and woodworking. He loved to travel the world with his wife and had an appreciation for fine foods. He was a proud member of the Scottish Graham Clan. Above all he was a faithful servant of God.

He is preceded in death by both his parents, Richard Hull and Eleanor Hufford Hull.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Edna “Mimi” Hull; son, Todd Hull and wife Donna Bear; daughter, Tanya Bevill and husband Ken; brother, Rick Hull and wife Donna; granddaughter, Zoe Bevill; two nephews, Dick Hull and wife Emily and Lance Hull and wife Michelle; also, many cousins.

A memorial service will be held 4 P.M. Monday, May 14, 2018 at Sinking Springs Presbyterian Church in Abingdon, Va. with Rev. Joel Long officiating. A reception will follow after the service. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to Sinking Springs Presbyterian Church and earmarked for his favorite charity “Faith in Action”.
