Tinie Belle Campbell

February 14, 1953 – August 14, 2025

Tinie Belle Campbell, 72, of Glade Spring, Virginia, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 14, 2025.

Born on February 14, 1953, to the late John and Dorothy Reynolds, Tinie was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She lived in North Carolina for nine years before returning to her beloved hometown of Abingdon, Virginia.

Tinie found great joy in life’s simple pleasures—fishing, camping, gardening, and working puzzle books. Her love for singing hymns and her unwavering faith were central to who she was, and she touched the lives of many with her warmth and strength of spirit.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Jim Campbell; her parents, John Banner and Dorothy Reynolds; sisters Bonnie Boardwine, Nana B. Reynolds, and Peggy Miller; and brothers Fred Reynolds, Slemp Reynolds, Moes Reynolds, and J.B. Reynolds.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Cindy Grainger, Jeff Campbell, and Robert Campbell; grandchildren Kayla Grainger and Kristen Grainger; and great-grandchild Aiden J. Atkins. She is also survived by her sisters, Ellen Black and Naomi Fields; brothers, Bob Reynolds and Albert Reynolds; and many loving nieces and nephews.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Gentiva Hospice Care, especially to Shannon, Teresa, and Krissy, for their exceptional care and compassion.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 18, 2025, at 11:00 A.M, at Knollkreg Mausoleum in Abingdon, with Pastor Roger Reynolds officiating.

Tinie’s legacy of love, faith, and resilience will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
