Tina Jane Johnson, 58 of Abingdon, VA., went to meet her Lord and Savior on October 28, 2020 at Johnson Memorial Hospital.
Tina was a proud mother and grandmother who devoted her life to her children and grandchildren. She was recently saved and loved her Lord and Savior and loved attending Greenwood Freewill Baptist Church.
She was survived by her mother, Mary Widener; her son, Rob Johnson and wife Robin; her daughter, Jessica Johnson and fiancé Rob Horne; three grandchildren who were the light of her life, Courtney Johnson, Skyler Puckett, and Eli Johnson; her sisters, Lib Thomas, Elsie Thomas and husband Roger, Geneva Wyatt, Louise Owens and husband James; her brothers, Tim Widener and June Widener; her best friend, Catherine Widener; a special nephew whom she thought of as her other son, Charlie Widener and wife Gina; a special niece and care giver, Casey Parks; and several other niece and nephews whom she loved dearly.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, October 30, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at Mount Olivet Cemetery with Pastor Gordon Smith officiating.
Pallbearers will be Rob Johnson, June Widener, Duff Parks, Tim Widener, Rob Horne, Charlie Widener, Cody Wyatt, and Lane Parks. Honorary Pallbearers will be Skyler Puckett, Eli Johnson, Courtney Johnson, several nephews, and brothers-in-law.
Flowers will be accepted or donations can be made to Frost Funeral Home to help cover funeral expenses.
