Thomas Ray Roe, Sr, 78, passed away on Monday, November 29, 2021 at his residence.
He was born to the late John Hal Roe and Frances Saul Bailey in Abingdon, VA.
Thomas worked for ACME Stone Company for 20 years. He then went to work for W & L for another 20 years. He loved being in the outdoors especially with his family and friends.
Including his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Wayne Roe.
Survivors include his loving companion of 16 years Sharron Arnold; son, Tommy Roe Jr.; three sisters, Eloise Arnold (Bill), Ester Wright (Marvin), and Ardena Morrison; two brothers, Jessie Roe (Christine) and Jerry Roe (Sheila Miller); granddaughter, Sarah Michelle Vines (Jake); also, many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Frost Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Forest Hills Memory Gardens. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 1:45 P.M.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
