Ted L. Wilson, 91, of Glade Spring, Virginia, passed away peacefully at Valley Nursing Home on Thursday, September 8, 2022.
Ted was a truck driver for Moss Trucking for many years. While he was in good health, he was a volunteer at the food bank and the Glad Spring Rescue Sqaud. He spent his lifetime in Washington County, Virginia where he loved to fish, hunt, and enjoy the outdoors. Ted was a faithful member of Cardwell Town Freewill Baptist Church.
Ted was preceded in death by his parents, Charles L. and Vonnie Wilson; three wives, Elsie, Doris, and Nellie; son, Gary Wilson; sister, Phyllis Crenshaw.
He is survived by his sister, Catherine Johnson; special cousin and caretaker, Wayne Bryant; granddaughter, Andrea Phipps; four great grandchildren; best friend, Mr. Nipper; and special neighbor, Stella.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at Mt. Rose Cemetery in Glade Spring, Virginia with Pastor Mark Baumgardner officiating.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Glade Spring Rescue Squad and friends of Ted.
