Stephen Roger Moretz, 70, went to be with the Lord on October 28, 2023 at Radford Health in Radford, VA.
Mr. Moretz loved to be outdoors, especially camping and horseback riding. He worked for the Volvo plant in Dublin, VA for over 20 years as a dedicated and hardworking employee. Above all he was a loving and dedicated father.
He is preceded in death by his father, Daniel Moretz; and one brother, Timothy Moretz.
Survivors include his daughter, Rebecca Orr and husband Jayson; mother, Billie Moretz; sister, Kathy Hagy and husband Andy and family; one grandson, Sam Orr; best friend, Linda Plaster, as well as many friends at Volvo.
Visitation for the family will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Thursday, November 02, 2023 at Frost Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, November 03, 2023 at Frost Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Hearl officiating. A committal service will follow to Forest Hills Memory Gardens.
