Saundra Lou Combs Long was born a coal miners daughter on May 11, 1946, in Wilder, Virginia the daughter of Edith Marie Bailey and Jack Combs.
She spent her little girl days in South Clinchfield and Abingdon, Virginia.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Mack Long; her infant daughter; two sisters, Darlene Wayne Combs and Cathy Jane Combs; three brothers, Myron Lynn Combs, Dexter Robin Combs, and Dempsey Caral Combs.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Carbary; his four children, Bill Jr, David, Missy, and Justin; and their children.
A graveside service will be held Friday, September 12, 2025 Â at 11:00 AM at Forest Hills Memory Garden with Pastor Brian Reed officiating. Those attending are asked to meet at the cemetery by 10:45 AM.
