Sammy Lee Heath, age 79 of Meadowview, VA went to be with the Lord on March 4, 2024 at NHC of Bristol. Mr. Heath was born in Virginia to the late Russell and Thelma Heath.
Sam worked for Kern’s for 31 years, and he retired from Mid-Mountain after 7 years of employment. Mr. Heath enjoyed yard sales, farming, but most of all he loved spending his time with his grandchildren and family.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his three sisters.
Mr. Heath is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Betty Heath; two sons, Steven Heath (Dolly), Leon Heath (Angie); two brothers, Wayne and Tom Heath; one sister, Mary Allen Lewis; four grandchildren, Cody, Christopher, Tyler, and Zachary; also several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive family and friends on Thursday, March 7, 2024, from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. with a funeral service to follow at 7:00 P.M. in the Frost Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Eddie Gobble officiating. A graveside service will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Friday March 8, 2024 at the Zion Methodist Church Cemetery in Nebo, VA with Elder Curt Heath officiating.
Those who are planning to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery by 11:45 A.M.
The family of Mr. Heath will receive family and friends anytime at their residence.
