Roy Lee Reynolds, age 37, of Abingdon, Va., went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 18, 2018, at Johnston Memorial Hospital.
He was born September 21, 1980, in Russell County, Va., a son of Bobby Lee Reynolds and Wanda Jean Barker Reynolds. Roy attended various churches in the area when his health permitted. He was an avid NASCAR, Virginia Tech football, Dallas Cowboys and WWE fan.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Banner and Dorothy Reynolds; maternal grandparents, Roy and Ruby Barker; uncles, Danny Barker, J.B. and Slemp Reynolds; and aunt, Nannie B. Reynolds.
Survivors include his parents, Bobby and Wanda Reynolds of Abingdon; sisters, Juanita Reynolds Hefler of Bristol, Va. and Dolly Jane Reynolds Payne and husband Joey of Abingdon; brother, Bobby Reynolds, Jr. of Abingdon; niece, Danielle Hefler; nephew, JoJo Payne; great niece, Daisy Rose Payne; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Monday, May 21, 2018, in the Frost Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Fred Reynolds and Bro. Ballard Miller officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service on Monday from 6 to 7:45 p.m. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 22, near the family home. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the gravesite at 1:45 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Booher, Jr., Robert Campbell, Jeff Campbell, Jason Osbourne, James Reynolds and Derek Fisher. Honorary pallbearers will be Joseph Payne, Jr., Joseph Wise, J.D. Wise and his uncles.
