Roger Wayne Fuller, 67, passed away Sunday, December 24, 2023, at his home in Damascus, Virginia with his family by his side. Leading up to his passing, Roger said “Jesus wants me home for his birthday.”
He was born February 5, 1956, in Ridgeway, Virginia to the late William Ezra and Mary Kathleen Fuller. Roger spent most of his life as a brick mason and retired from Mid-Mountain Foods. Roger was a loving father who always put his faith in God first. His family will remember him for his kind heart and gentle nature.
Roger is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Janice Elizabeth Huggins Fuller; two daughters, Savannah Fuller and Carrie Fuller; one sister, Mildred Fuller (David) Ketron; four brothers, William “J.R.” Fuller, Jimmy (Donna) Fuller, David (Gloria) Fuller, and Fred (Pam) Fuller; three grandchildren, Gracie Wheeler (Ashton Chafin), Lyric Fuller, and Jonah Fuller; two great-grandchildren, Nixon Chafin and Hudson Chafin. Roger is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 P.M. Saturday, December 30, 2023, at One Way Ministries in Damascus, Virginia with Pastor Gary Richie officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to help offset the cost of the funeral expenses.
