Robert Wesley Hill

Updated: Nov 19

Robert Wesley Hill, 68, passed away Sunday, November 17, 2024, at Bristol Regional Medical Center. He was the beloved son of Roy Kenneth Hill and Evelyn Virginia Doyle Hill, each of whom preceded him in death.

Those left to cherish his memory: brother Bill J. Hill and wife Kathy, sister Donna Hill Buchanan, brother Richard Earl Hill, brother Raymond Eugene Hill, and brother Randall Lee Hill and wife Sally, several nieces and nephews, and a close group of neighbors at Douglas School Apartments.

If you were blessed to be kin to Robert or know him as a friend, you know what a good and sweet soul he was. He cared deeply about those he loved and was always willing to help friends and strangers. He made friends everywhere he went.

Robert had an excellent memory and could answer questions about family history that no one else remembered. He spent years as his father’s closest companion. He emulated his father’s goodness and kindness. Robert always wanted to keep up with what was happening with his siblings and their children. He cared deeply about them all.

Robert had serious health issues for many years. For the last twenty-one years, his elder brother Bill Hill has stepped in to fill the void left for Robert when his father died.

Robert will be sorely missed.

Robert’s interests through the years included playing the lottery and watching NASCAR racing. He was a big fan of the late Dale Earnhardt. He had a subtle sense of humor that was dear to those who knew him best. Everyone who knew him knew what a good man he was.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. on Saturday, November 23, 2024 with a funeral service to follow at 12:00 P.M. with Pastor John Hill officiating.

Frost Funeral Home & Cremation Services is honored to serve the family of Mr. Robert Hill.
