Robert Browning Hayter, Jr

Robert Browning Hayter, Jr., 58, passed away August 23, 2023 at his residence.

He was born September 03, 1964 to the late Robert Browning Hayter, Sr., and Janet Ann Schultz Hayter.

Robert was a graduate of Abingdon High School where he loved to play basketball. He also, thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors especially shooting guns and fishing. He was a member of Abingdon Church of Christ.

Survivors include his mother, Janet Hayter (Abingdon, VA); one brother. James Hayter (Eileen); one nephew, Walker Hayter; and one niece, Caroline Hayter all of Chapel Hill, NC.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. on Monday, August 28, 2023 at Frost Funeral Home. A graveside will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at Knollkreg Memorial Park with Minister Nathan Liddell officiating. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 12:45 P.M.
