Mr. Richard was a very strong believer and always grateful for life and Gods blessings even in the midst of struggles. He is kind hearted and a very generous person with a great sense of humor. He was very polite, soft spoken and gentle towards others. I had learned how to treat others like you would treat yourself from his life!
Richard was one of those 'non-bland' types who ALWAYS left you with something about him to remember, LOL! From his thespian mannerisms to his distinctive Southern-smooth-style, one would most always walk away from him with a smile. Charming, engaging, reflective - these are just a few words describing him. What impressed ME so much (among the MANY things) was the GENUINENESS with which he would listen to others. Granted, Richard had dramatic flair, but he really listened to others with interest and (usually) follow-up questions.
We were enriched by him for he was as colorful as the 64-count crayon boxes we coveted as children. Still, and nonetheless, it is not JUST these things that touch us, but - as John…
Richard was truly a friend to all. He was kind and gentle. He will be missed.
Prayers for strength and healing through this difficult time. 🙏
