PHYLLIS E. LOTTS
Abingdon, Va.
Phyllis Eggers Lotts, age 83, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 26, 2022, at her home.
She was born March 18, 1939, in Abingdon, Va., a daughter of the late Richard Eggers and Dora Mae Jones Eggers. She lived most of her life in Washington County, Va., was a 1956 graduate of Wallace High School and a 1959 graduate of Lewis-Gale Hospital School of Nursing in Roanoke, Va. She was a registered nurse and had worked at various hospitals, mostly at Johnston Memorial Hospital. She was a faithful member of Greendale Chapel where she was a member of the choir and had been a Bible School worker for many years.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Kerry W. (Wick) Lotts; and her daughter, Kimberly Lotts Campbell.
Survivors include her loving and special grandson, Joshua Brock Campbell and wife, Brittany of Fairfield, Va.; great grandson, Wickham Cole Campbell; two brothers, Larry Eggers and wife, Jo of Buchanan, Va., and Jerry Eggers and wife, Dorinda of Abingdon, Va.; niece, Laura Greer; great nephew, Aaron Greer and wife, Katie; great niece, Sarah Petty and husband, Tyler; and several other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services for Phyllis E. Lotts will be conducted at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 2, 2022, at Greendale Chapel with Rev. Jerry A. Eggers officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memory Gardens. There will be no formal visitation, but friends may call anytime at the home of Jerry and Dorinda Eggers, 17480 Jerry Lane, Abingdon, Va., 24210.
Pallbearers and honorary pallbearers will be Aaron Greer, Tyler Petty, Charles Whiteaker, Joe Lotts, Lance Jones, Men of Greendale Chapel and Employees of Frost Funeral Home.
