Patty Sue Pruett Boden

Patty Sue Pruett Boden, 79, of Abingdon, Va., passed away on Friday, June 14, 2019. She was born in Tazewell County, Va., to the late Clyde and Hazel McCoy Pruett. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by one sister, Betty Jean Echard; and one brother, Jackie “Jack” Pruett. Patty worked many years at Brown’s Pantry where she was affectionately known as “Granny”. She loved camping at the lake and spending time with her dogs, Tiki and Pretty Boy. Throughout her life she touched many lives, she loved many and many loved her. Survivors include two daughters, Rita Muncy (Ralph) of Abingdon, Va., and Trish Muncy of Gastonia, NC; special nephew was like her own son, Bill Watson; grandchildren, Christy, Buddy, C.J., Jarred, Celena, Cynthia, Dana, Marie, Shannon and Michael; 27 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
