Patsy Jean Osborne

             Patsy Jean Osborne, 73, of Abingdon, Va., went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 4, 2019, at Johnston Memorial Hospital. She was born on February 18, 1946, in Wytheville, Va., to the late Barton Bates Stuart and Nellie Gunter Stuart. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her step father, Virgil Hurst. Patsy was a graduate of Johnston Memorial School of Nursing and worked 40 years as a Registered Nurse. She was a member of Shady Grove United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband, Ronnie Osborne; one daughter, Jill Osborne; one son, Reid Osborne (Lynn); two grandsons, Trey Osborne and Carter Osborne; two brothers, Randy Hurst (Martha) and Frankie Hurst; one sister-in-law, Mary Lou Combs (Paul); a special aunt, Jean King and several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to express a special thank you to the staff of Johnston Memorial Hospital, especially PCU, CCU and respiratory units as well as Dr. Robinette. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, May 6, 2019, in the Frost Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Barbara Doyle officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Johnson, Lanny Osborne, J.B. Kinder, Dennis Arnold, Bill Chaffin, Andrew Dollinger, Kenneth Reynolds and Tommy White.
