On April 1, 2020 Pamela Bradley Whitman of Abingdon, Virginia, passed away.
She was born in Tyler, TX in 1942. She graduated from Abington High School and went on to attend William and Mary College. Pamela also attended the University of Florida obtaining a Masters Degree in Spanish Education. Pamela was a member of The Abingdon United Methodist Church. She was also a member of The Abingdon Bridge Club and Abingdon Garden Club.
While accompanying her husband’s occupational transfers she taught Spanish and English in California, Colorado, Maine, Maryland, West Virginia and Virginia. Pamela and her husband permanently returned to Abingdon in 2000.
Pamela is survived by her Husband, Charles and two children, Michael K. Whitman of Kansas City, MO, Jennifer Arnaez of Clemmons, NC, 5 Grandchildren and brother Mark Bradley of Emory, VA.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 10, 2020 ,at Knollkreg Memorial Park to remember Pam, who will be greatly missed. Please bring your fondest memories of Pam to share with family and friends.
