Noah F. Plummer Jr, 74, passed away on July 17, 2024, in Abingdon, Virginia.
Noah was born on March 16, 1950, to the late Noah and Nancy Jane Plummer.
In addition to his parents, Noah was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Plummer.
Noah (also known as Junior) was employed at Bristol Compressor for 30 years. He was also known for working on various farms and helping with maintenance at Glenrochie Golf Course. He faithfully attended Solid Rock Baptist Church. Noah was always thanking God for all his blessings and loved to share his faith with others. His favorite saying was “I am a winner either way”.
Those left to cherish his memory include his significant other, Frances Ann Thacker, her sons, John Thacker and wife Amy, and Daryll Thacker and wife Becky; special mention of people he considered his grandchildren, Conrad Thacker and wife Kendra, Kayla Thacker and Vince, McKenzie and Morgan Thacker; special friends, Keith VanCannon; Tim Doss & Tonya, Eddie and Becky Holmes, Nick, Eddie, and Sam Yarber, and Rebecca ReMine.
Noah enjoyed God’s beauty on his many drives. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening; at home he loved to watch Gunsmoke and Bonanza.
The family will receive friends on Monday, July 22, 2024, from 11:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. in the Frost Funeral Home Chapel with Billy Hawkins officiating and a special reading by Keith VanCannon. A graveside service will follow in procession to Knollkreg Memorial Park. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at Frost Funeral Home by 11:45 A.M.
Serving as pallbearers will be all the many friends of Noah.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to his caretakers Joy Rasnake, Tammy, and Beverly Henley.

Junior will be missed. He was good to my mamaw and our whole family. Thankful for the times we had with him and know he’s in a better place now
