Mildred Viola Reynolds, age 61, of the Hidden Valley community, passed away on Monday, August 6, 2018.
She was born on April 8, 1957, in Washington County, Va., and lived her entire life in the area. She loved growing flowers, hunting, shopping and dancing to bluegrass music. Viola especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of Poor Valley Log Church.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mildred Geneda Reynolds and one brother, Jackie Wayne Reynolds.
Survivors include her father, Maynard Reynolds of the Hidden Valley community; two daughters, Melissa Dawn Wise and husband Michael of Abingdon, and Nichole Renae Hall and husband Osya of Lebanon, Va.; three grandchildren, Hunter Wise, Levi Wise, and Nevaeh Reynolds; two sisters, Marie Hilliard and husband Ken of South Carolina and Reba Olinger and fiancé Tony Martin of Saltville; two brothers, Lynn Reynolds and wife Mary Ann of Glade Spring, and Wayne Reynolds and wife Judy of Meadowview; her loving best friend and significant other, Jerry Reynolds; several nieces and nephews; and a very dear friend, Marie Meade.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, August 9, 2018, at Frost Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with Bro. Ballard Miller, Bro. Roger Reynolds and Bro. Richard Gibson officiating. Interment will follow in the Reynolds Family Cemetery.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
