Mary Emma Francis Holbrook

Mary Emma Francis Holbrook, 73, passed away December 7, 2018 at Grace Health Care in Abingdon, Va.

She was born April 20, 1945 to the late William and Lizzie Davis Holbrook. In her spare time she thoroughly enjoyed writing and playing music. She was a member of Alvarado Bible Church.

Including her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother; and two sisters.

Survivors include six children, Jerry Holbrook and wife Tammy, Terry Cook and wife Debbie, Barry Cook and wife Tiny, Randall Sluss and wife Melissa, Cindy Sluss and fiancé Tony and Pam Sluss and fiancé Adam; three brothers; 16 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; also, many nieces and nephews.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 12 pm until 2 pm Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at Alvarado Bible Church. A service will follow the visitation at 2 pm with Brother Junior Gobble officiating. A committal service will follow in the Solid Rock Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be, Jerry Holbrook, Barry Cook, Randall Sluss, Len Cook, Bruce Holbrook and Eric Cook. Honorary pallbearers will be, Adam Cannon, Daniel Cook, Deavon Sluss, Adam Lahbib, and Jamey Rhea Jr.
