Mary “Ann” Fugate, 84, of Abingdon, Va., went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 30, 2018.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Henry Fugate.
Ann had attended several churches in the area during her life and was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by two daughters, Kathy Fugate and Donna Yarber (Eddie); one son, Zeke Fugate (Cathy); one special grandson, Nick Yarber (Dawn); and one special great grandson the light of her life, Sam Yarber. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to express their special thanks to the caregivers at Grace Healthcare, Judy, Dora, Judy (#1), Tammy “Sweet Pea”, Jennifer, Susan, Tasha, Mary and the entire staff who showered her with love and care.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 3, 2018, at 11 a.m., in Forest Hills Memory Gardens with Pastor Billy Hawkins officiating. Those attending are asked to gather at the cemetery by 10:45 a.m.
