Marjorie Ann Blankenship

Abingdon, VA.

Marjorie Ann Blankenship passed away May 31, 2019.

Marjorie was born in Radford, VA. to the late Claude and Mary Wolfe Blankenship. She lived in Cleveland, Ohio most of her life and recently returned to Abingdon, VA. Marjorie was of the Christian Faith.

She enjoyed a career in Title Sales in Cleveland, Ohio, where she made many lifelong friends. She loved the outdoors, biking, travel, music and time with her family. She loved animals and her pet dog “Mia.”

Including her parents, she is preceded in death by sisters, Gaynell and Nancy; and brother, Ed. Blankenship;

She is survived by her sister, Mary Siegner Semenov of Abingdon, VA; brother, Claude Blankenship of Louin, MS; and several nieces and nephews.

A private viewing service was held on June 3, 2019 at Frost Funeral Home, Pastor John Dawson of Abingdon Presbyterian Church lead in prayer and scripture reading, 1 Thessalonians 4: 14-17.

The family is grateful for prayers and condolences during this time.

The family request that memorial donations be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Institute or the American Diabetes Association.
