Malcolm Eugene Quesenberry, 85, of Abingdon, Virginia, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2025, at NHC Healthcare in Bristol, TN.
Malcolm was born in Gary/Welch, West Virginia on September 14, 1940 to Pierce and Elva (Caudill) Quesenberry. The family later moved to Abingdon, Virginia in 1953. He served our country in the Army Reserves and had a respected career as a Draftsman at VDOT. He loved spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed hiking, biking, gardening, traveling, and spending time outdoors. He liked playing basketball, tennis, and other sports in his younger years.
In addition to his parents, Malcolm was preceded in death by his brothers Calvin, Homer, and Billy. He is survived by one sister Connie Crabtree (Don); his four sons and two daughters in law, Eric, Alex and Marla, Chad and Melanie, and Michael; grandchildren Camille Bowden (Jack), Griffin Reynolds, Sabrina Trujillo, Jayke Hamill, Annalyse Quesenberry, Kinsley Quesenberry, Emma Quesenberry, Trace Quesenberry; several special cousins, nieces and nephews; other special family members included Sharon Quesenberry, Barbara Roberts, Ella Jean Quesenberry and Barbara Quesenberry.
A celebration of life service will take place at Frost Funeral Home in Abingdon, Virginia on Friday November 7, at 6:00 P.M. with Minister Conway Hutton officiating. Visitation will be 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M.
