Lois Lucille Barlow

April 2, 1940 – November 24, 2025

Lois Lucille Barlow, 85, passed away peacefully on November 24, 2025. She was born on April 2, 1940, to the late Mack and Lola Thomas.

Lois found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved going to yard sales, spending time with her family, and she adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought her endless joy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving spouse, Elihu Barlow.

She is survived by her son, Hugh Barlow (Angel); two daughters, Almeda Davenport (Claude) and Clarice Barlow; her cherished grandchildren: Jason, Candy, Alexis, and Adam; her beloved great-grandchildren: Gracie Ann, Emily, Ryelin, Rynlee, and Hollie; and her great-great grandson, Waylon. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, her honorary grandson, John Chapman, and several brothers and sisters.

A graveside service will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, November 28, 2025, at Mt. Olivet in Glade Spring, Virginia. Those wishing to attend are kindly asked to arrive by 11:45 AM.

Lois will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
