Linda Carrier McKee

Linda Carrier McKee, age 68, of Meadowview, Virginia passed away on May 13, 2025.

Born on September 9, 1956, in Bristol, she was a lifelong resident of the area and found great joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially camping and spending time at South Holston Lake.

Linda dedicated much of her time and heart to working with children as a Special Education Aide at Meadowview Elementary School. Her compassion, patience, and care touched many lives during her years of service.

She was preceded in death by her father Raymond Douglas Carrier; beloved sons, Gavin Andrew McKee and Phillip Jerome McKee, whose memories she carried with her always.

Linda is survived by her devoted husband, David, with whom she recently celebrated 50 years of marriage this May; her daughter, Shara Nicole Ziqiong McKee; her mother, Shirley Carrier; her brother, Richard Carrier; her sister, Joyce Tilson; and her cherished grandson, Aiden McKee and granddaughter Ali Scott. She is also remembered by several loving aunts and uncles.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. at Observation Knob Park, Shelter B. Guests are asked to inform the park manager at the entrance that they are attending the Linda McKee service for directions to the shelter.

Private services and burial were held at Kelly Chapel Cemetery in Glade Spring, Virginia.
