Lazena Ruth Martin

Lazena Ruth Martin, 86, of Abingdon, Va. passed away Wednesday, November 03, 2021, at Valley Health Care Center, Chilhowie, Va.

She is survived by her son, Gary Dalton and daughter in law, Kathy; grandchildren, Corey Meador, Sarah Sawyers, and Erica Nowlin; great grandchildren, Cale and Jace Meador, Emmett Nowlin and Elizabeth Sawyers; brother, Charles Wood and sister-in-law Neleen; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Mildred Blevins and Connie Clay.

Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by her husband, Roddy T. Martin; two brothers, Alden Wood and Joe Wood; two sisters, Claudine Belcher and Lorna Conner; and her parents, Rufus and Stella Mae Wood.

A service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, November 06, 2021, at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Christiansburg, Va. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the mausoleum by 10:45 a.m.
