Lavinia Carol Eller, of Meadowview, Virginia, passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at Johnston Memorial Hospital. She was born in Konnarock, Virginia, on March 4, 1945, the youngest daughter of the late Victor Lee Blevins and Ollie Ball Blevins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by eight sisters and five brothers.

Carol lived in Washington County, Virginia, for most of her life. She worked as a nurse’s assistant and food service manager.

She was of the Christian faith and faithfully read her Bible daily. Carol enjoyed doing puzzles and taking weekend rides with Ernest and their dogs.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 61 years, Ernest Eller; her sons, Phillip “Ernie” Eller (Becky) and Eric Clayton Eller (Melissa); grandchildren, Jennifer Phipps, Audriana Jackson, and Jarred Eller (Katlyne); great grandchildren, William Phipps, Makayla Phipps, Hazelyn Eller, and Clayton Eller; great great-grandchildren, Amberly Phipps and Lane Phipps. She also leaves behind her beloved fur babies, Suzie and Gypsey, as well as several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 27, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Green cove Cemetery, with Pastor Maurice Widener officiating. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to arrive by 12:45 p.m.
