Karen M. Testerman, 74, of Glade Spring, Va., passed away on Friday, October 01, 2021, at Johnston Memorial Hospital.
Karen enjoyed QVC shopping, coloring and being on Facebook. She loved spending time with her family especially her great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Katherine Achhammer; sister, Gloria McCreary; brother, John Achhammer; great grandchild, Asher Cole; and daughter-in-law, Polly Ann Testerman.
Survivors include her husband, Gayther Testerman; sons, Jim Testerman (Lisa) and Randy Testerman; grandchildren, Dawn Testerman, Isaac Testerman (Amanda), Victoria Callahan and April Parris; great grandchildren, Damian Wheeler, Ethan Wheeler, Brantley Parris, Rowan Parris and Jeremiah Testerman; sister-in-law, June Goforth; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 3 to 4:45 p.m., Sunday, October 3, 2021, in the Frost Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service will follow at 5 p.m., with Pastor Vann Seal officiating. A committal service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday at Sunset Memorial Park. Family and friends are asked to gather at the funeral home on Monday at 1:15 p.m. to travel in procession to the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Larry Widener, Seth Testerman, John Testerman, Lou Testerman, Matt Hicks and Jerry Stanley.
