Julia Sullins

Julia Ann Phillips Sullins, better known as “Granny Judy”, age 77, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Bristol, Tenn. on Saturday, September 22, 2018.  Leaving this earth to join her husband Fred to live together in their eternal resting place.

Granny Judy was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  She loved to read, cook, sew, and spend time with family and friends, especially her pride and joys Lucas and Andrew.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Frederick “Fred” Sullins, Sr.

She is survived by one daughter, Cindy Kelly and husband, Roger; one son, Mike Sullins; two granddaughters, Courtney Fizer and fiancé, Charles Wilson and Tiffany Fizer; two very special great grandsons, Andrew and Lucas; two brothers, Lynn Phillips and wife, Betty and Larry Phillips; two brothers-in-law, Ken Sullins and wife, Ann and L.J. Sullins and wife, Erika; former son-in-law, Robert Fizer and wife, Rebecca; special nephew and niece, Ray Sullins and Angela Lindstrom and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Tuesday, September 25, 2018, at Frost Funeral Home.  A funeral procession will follow to Forest Hills Memory Gardens for a graveside service with Rev. Jerry A. Eggers officiating.  Family and friends will serve as pallbearers and honorary pallbearers.
