John Philip “Phil” Kennedy, Jr.

John Philip “Phil” Kennedy, Jr., age 72, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 28, 2025. He was born on September 12, 1953, to the late John Kennedy, Sr. and Angela Kennedy.

Phil was a man who loved life’s simple joys. He enjoyed woodworking, taking golf cart rides to the lake, and feeding and watching the birds. Always a hands-on person, Phil could often be found tinkering with both interior and exterior projects. Family members could always be assured that once a project was completed, a phone call would follow lasting 30–45 minutes where he shared every detail of his work.

In addition to his parents, Phil was preceded in death by his brother, Tim Kennedy.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Marjorie “Sally” Kennedy; two daughters, Kathy Kennedy (John) and Regina Patrick; four grandchildren, Savannah Brooks, Samantha Blankenbecler, Santana Fields, and Aidan Patrick; eight great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Kathy Young and Angie Arsenault. Phil also leaves behind his beloved dogs, Lillie and Dixie, who were constant companions.

In accordance with Phil’s wishes, no services will be held.
