JoAnne Olinger Overbay, age 67, of Glade Spring, Va., went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 16, 2018, at her home.
She was a member of Little Rock Baptist Church. JoAnne was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her father, Arlie Jackson Olinger; mother, Doris Olinger Wilson and brother, Thier Olinger.
Survivors include her husband, Don Overbay; children, Dawn Goff and husband Jeff, Tracy Widener and husband Willie; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Garland and husband Dustin, Trevor Goff and wife Michaela, Kimee Stallard and husband Tyler and Andrew Goff; great granddaughter, Rylee Garland; brother, Donnie Olinger and wife Teresa; sister, Sandy Taylor and husband Manuel; sister-in-law, Terri Olinger and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, August 19, 2018, at Little Rock Baptist Church, 36242 Loves Mill Rd., Chilhowie, Va., 24319. Funeral services will follow at 5 p.m. Sunday with Brother Buster Mullins officiating. Family and friends will gather at the church on Monday morning by 10:30 a.m. to travel in procession to Mount Rose Cemetery for a committal service at 11 a.m.
Pallbearers will be Willie Widener, Andrew Goff, Jeff Goff, Dustin Garland, Trevor Goff and Tyler Stallard.
In lieu of flowers memorial gifts are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St Jude Place Memphis, Tenn., 38105.
