Jeane Hayes Walls, age 77, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 27, 2019. She was born June 27, 1942, the daughter of the late Joseph H. and Zella Shumate Hayes. Jeane was a lifelong resident of Konnarock, Virginia and a member of Azen Baptist Church. Jeane was dearly loved by all who knew her. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by brother, Bruce S. Hayes; sisters Barbara Coe and Linda Hayes. She is survived by her son, Jeff Walls and wife Kelly; Granddaughter Linsey Stevens and husband Matt, great-grandson Bayne; Grandson Allan Walls; Sister Brenda Blevins and husband Tim; Brother-in-law, Jimmy Coe and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A memorial service will be held for Jeane at Azen Baptist Church on Sunday, June 30, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Jim Lundy and Pastor Doug Haga. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Azen Baptist Church, 21625 Jeb Azen Road, Damascus, VA 24236.
