Jackie Ray Delp, 79, passed away January 24, 2021 at his residence in Abingdon, VA.
Mr. Delp was born April 25, 1941 to the late Charles and Lelia Osborne Delp in Abingdon, VA.
He was a long-haul truck driver for over 55 years having driven over 10 thousand miles in his career. He enjoyed mowing yards, tinkering on vehicles and working on his tractor.
Including his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Surber Delp; two brothers and one sister.
Survivors include three children, Charles Delp and fiancé Marie Cook, Lisa Neely, Timothy Delp and wife Brenda; seven grandchildren, Dakota Neely, Austin Neely, Amanda Muday, Rick Stevens, Alexie Williams, Maddie Williams, and William Riley; five great grandchildren, Isabelle Stevens, Julia Harris, Emma Stevens, Aaron Collins, and Arabella Muday; also many nieces and nephews.
Services for Mr. Delp will be held privately.
