Ivan Russell Blevins, age 75, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 19, 2023.
Ivan was born on June 22, 1948, to the late George Russell and Nell Ellis Blevins.
Ivan was a faithful member of Greendale Chapel for many years. He enjoyed woodworking and was a truck driver for over 35 years. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather.
In addition to his parents, Ivan is preceded in death by his brothers; Wayne Blevins, and Ronnie Blevins.
Those left to cherish his memory include, his loving wife of 54 years, Patricia Blevins; daughters, Robin Crosswhite and husband Harold, and Ashley Blevins; and son Jeffrey Blevins; grandchildren, Skylar, Justin, Jacob, Bradley, Wesley, Waylon, Arrayah, Alyssa, and AJ. Survivors also include, brother, Wade Blevins and wife Sondra; Sister, Erma Dye; and sisters-in-law, Carol Jean Blevins and Nora Blevins.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Friday, December 22, 2023 at Greendale Chapel. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 P.M. with Rev. Jerry A. Eggers officiating. A graveside service will be held at 11 A.M. on Saturday, December 23, 2023, at Forest Hills Memory Gardens, those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the funeral home to go in procession at 10:45 A.M.
Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
