Abingdon, Va.
Inez Pruitt, a lifelong resident of Washington County, Va., passed away on Tuesday, May 4, 2021, at Johnston Memorial Hospital.
Inez attended Heavenly Rest Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Milford and Bessie Garnett Warren; son, Jerry Williams; daughter, Debbie Swails; grandson, Chad McCracken and an infant brother, Kenneth Warren.
Survivors include her daughter, Loretta McCracken; four grandchildren, Brad McCracken, Latasha Curtis, Curtis Swails and Christy Swails; great grandson, Matthew McCracken; four sisters, Annie Harmon and husband Charlie, Elizabeth Robins, Patricia Hewitt and Darlene Lamm and husband Ben; and several nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service for family members only will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 8, 2021, at Forest Hills Memory Gardens with Mike Roark officiating. Those attending are asked to gather at the cemetery by 10:45 a.m.
