Hansel Allen (Hank) Stiltner of Abingdon, VA. went to meet the Lord on Saturday, March 12, 2022.
He was born in Grundy, VA. on January 11, 1936 to the late Gilmer and Lillie Ramey Sitltner.
He served in the United States Air Force from 1954-1961. He was retired from Western Union.
He enjoyed traveling, playing golf with his brother, Ervin, and spending time with his family.
Including his parents, he is preceded in death by his only child, John Edward; brother, Clifford Edward, Ersel and Mack Stiltner; sister, Geneva Stiltner.
Those left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 66 years, Rose Mary Bernica Stiltner; brother, Ervin (Inga) Stiltner of Naples FL.; sisters, Mervil Rowe of Abingdon VA., Brenda (Don) Ashby of Grundy VA., Downeda (Jay) Wallace; fur babies, Jake and Boomer; special niece, Sharon Kennedy (Gale) of Abingdon, VA; several nieces and nephews.
A memorial mass will be held at 8:00 A.M. on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at Christ the King Catholic Church. Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. Thursday, March 17, 2022 at Frost Funeral Home with a service following visitation at 2:00 P.M. with Catechetical Minister Melanie Coddington officiating. A committal service will follow at Knollkreg Memorial Park.
The family wishes to say a special thank you to his caregiver, Denyse Coramn.
Serving as pallbearers will be the nephews.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Ed Bernica, Don Ashby, Jay Wallace, Gale Kennedy, and Gary Tackett.
