Greta Mullins Easterling

Mrs. Greta Mullins Easterling, 90, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at the Ballad Hospice House in Bristol, Tennessee.


Mrs. Easterling was born January 1, 1932 in San Antonio, Texas to the late Watson and Nova Freeman Mullins. Greta loved to sew, fish, golf, and groundhog hunt. A faithful member of the Church of God for more than 66 years, Mrs. Easterling was a charter member of Anderson Church of God in Bristol, Virginia and later a member of the First Church of God on White’s Mill Road in Abingdon, Virginia


She is survived by of her loving husband of 73 years Kyle Easterling; three daughters, Kylene Hill and husband Joseph, Dana Frye and husband Mark , and Julie Rutledge and husband Chet; grandchildren, Erica Hill (Michael), Whitney Taff (John), Isaac Hill (Nancy), Kirsten Frye (Liz), Ian Frye (Chelsea), Jacob Rutledge (Tai), and Maggie Kissinger (Hunter); great grandchildren, John and Gretchen Taff, Stella Rutledge, and Zyah Kissinger; one sister Dina Lee Mullins Howard and husband Mike.


A visitation will be held Thursday, April 7, 2022 from 5 P.M. until 7 P.M. at The Abingdon First Church of God, 500 Whites Mill Road, Abingdon, Virginia, 24210. A memorial service will follow at 7 P.M with Pastor Bob Neace officiating. Masks are required at the church. The family will hold a private inurnment service at a later date.
