Glenn Robert Anderson, 65, of the Black Hollow community, went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 23, 2021, at his home.
He was a lifelong resident of Washington County, Va., and retired from VDOT after 32 years of service. Glenn was a lifetime farmer in the Black Hollow community. He loved spending time with his family especially his children and grandchildren. Glenn enjoyed helping others, he always offered to feed anyone who came to his door. He was a Christian and a member of Swartz Chapel Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Louise Anderson.
Survivors include his wife, Connie Anderson; two sons, Aaron Anderson (Stacey) and Brad Arnold; four grandchildren, Collin Anderson, A.J. Arnold, Brady Arnold and Renny Arnold; a special cousin, Joe Hamilton and his beloved dog, Callie.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at Frost Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday in the chapel with Pastor P.T. Glover and Daniel Hoss officiating. Interment will follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Cowboy Odum, Carl Cox, Mike Davis, Jarred Hoss, Mike Burnette and Dennis Burnette. Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Hamilton and Kadin Davis.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial gifts can be made to Swartz Chapel Church.
