Gene Arthur Inscore, 81, went to be with the Lord on July 27, 2021 at Johnston Memorial Hospital.
He was born June 26, 1940 in Abingdon, VA. to the late Robert and Kansas Inscore.
Mr. Inscore was a truck driver for over 40 years. He was very involved in his community always offering a helping hand. During his spare time, he would love to drive the roads in the afternoon looking for deer. He also served in the United States Marine Corps. Mr. Inscore was a devoted and dedicated member of Adoration Church in Bristol, VA.
Including his parents, he is preceded in death by, his loving wife Kitty Kodak Inscore; one brother, John Inscore; three sisters, Peggy Gobble, Polly Inscore and Kathy Inscore.
Survivors include one daughter, Sabrina Inscore; one son, Mike Inscore and wife Tammi; one brother, Bobby Inscore; two sisters, Tana Inscore and Ruby Decker; four grandchildren, Faith, Chelsea, Traci and Victoria Inscore; also several nieces and nephews.
Services for Mr. Inscore will be held privately.
