Frederick Michael Sullins, Sr., age 74, passed away at his home on Tuesday, July 17, 2018, surrounded by his family.
Throughout his life he never met a stranger and was a friend to everyone.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther James Sullins and Ella Marie Stiltner Sullins.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Julia Sullins; one daughter, Cindy Kelly and husband Roger; one son, Mike Sullins and wife Lisa; two granddaughters, Courtney Fizer and fiancé Charles Wilson, and Tiffany Fizer and fiancé Andrew Atkins; one very special great grandson who was his pride and joy, Lucas; two brothers, Ken Sullins and wife Ann, and L.J. Sullins and wife Erika; former son-in-law, Robert Fizer and wife Rebecca; and several nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to express their appreciation to Mountain States Hospice for all the care and concern that was shown during this time.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 19, 2018, in Forest Hills Memory Gardens with Rev. Jerry A. Eggers officiating. Those wishing to attend are asked to gather at the cemetery by 1:45 p.m.
Family and friends will serve as honorary pallbearers.
