Frances Geraldine Leonard, 82, passed away February 17, 2023 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Leonard was born September 18, 1940 to the late Sam McCracken and Minnie McCracken in Bristol, VA.
Including her parents, she is preceded in death by one sister, Janice Cross.
Survivors include her loving husband, Robert Leonard; one son, Robin Leonard; four daughters, Kathy McCracken Hatton and husband Don, Ronda Loving and husband Steve, Melissa Leonard, and Kristie Lunsford and husband Wayne; two brothers, Roger McCracken and Gary McCracken; one sister, Nelma Leonard; grandchildren, Steven Loving, Aaron Loving and wife Kelly, Samantha Lunsford, Josie Lunsford, Mindy Lunsford, and Mackenzie Lunsford; great grandchildren, Emily Tungate and Kelia Estep; also several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until 12:30 P.M. on Monday, February 20, 2023 at Frost Funeral Home with a service following at 12:30 P.M. with Pastor Mike Sage officiating. A committal service will follow to Gum Hill Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Darrell Cross, Lynn Leonard, Chad McCracken, Greg McCracken, Jeff McCracken, and Luke Hobbs.
Honorary pallbearers, Roger McCracken, Gary McCracken, Clarence ‘Junior” Leonard, Don Hatton, and Donald Necessary, Steve Loving, and Wayne Lunsford.
