Fannie Jean Hayter

Fannie Jean Hayter, 70, passed away October 04, 2023 at Johnston Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Hayter was born on December 04, 1952 to the late Clinton and Edna Roark Wright in Washington, County, VA.

Including her parents, she is preceded in death by, two brothers, Jerry and Bobby Wright; three sisters, Virginia George, Irene Woods, and Willie Fields.

Survivors include her loving husband of 55 years, Thomas Hayter; two children, Mike Hayter (Paula) and Kelly Hayter (Kim); three sisters, Sandra Wise, Mary Wimmer, and Thelma Wright; three brothers; Clint Wright, William Wright, and David Wright; two grandchildren, Rebecca Nunley (Tyler) and Cody Hayter; one great grandchild, Addison Nunley; also, several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, October 06, 2023 at Mountain View United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jerry A. Eggers officiating. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 1:45 P.M.
