Emily J. Garrett Neal, age 71, passed away peacefully at her residence on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 with her family by her side. She was the daughter of the late John Leonard Garrett and Eula Mae Rush Garrett. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers Bobby Leon Garrett and Bill Garrett, as well as sisters Peggy Helton and Shirley Mae Brown.
Mrs. Neal is survived by her loving husband, Otis Lee “Butch” Neal, as well as brother Jack Edward Garrett of Abingdon, VA, and two sisters Phyllis Ann Pippin of Glade Spring, VA and Betty Jo Camper of Abingdon, VA.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at Forest Hill Memory Gardens in Abingdon, VA with special friend, Eddie Heath, officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Under His Shadow Motorcycle Ministry.
