Elizabeth Faye Garrett Bordwine passed away Friday, February 18, 2022 at her home in Abingdon, Virginia
She was born October 8, 1957 to the late Harry Garrett and Shirley Floyd Guinn. Elizabeth was always on the go and loved quilting, gardening, and spending time with her granddaughter, LilyAnna. She was a member of the Church of New Beginnings in Glade Spring, Virginia.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step father, Dewey Guinn; two sons, Chad Bordwine and Robert Garrett; one brother, Walter Garrett; two nieces, Shirley Hawkins and Ashley Garrett; one nephew, Gerald Chambers.
Elizabeth is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Benny Bordwine; one son, Mike Garrett; four sisters, Shirley Chambers, Diana Howell, Ruby Taylor, Norma Gadis; two brothers, Junior Edward Garrett and Harry Curtis Garret; two grandchildren, LilyAnna Tignor and Navaeah Harless; special niece, Latisha Garrett; several other nieces and nephews also survive.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 24, 2022 from 12 P.M. until 2 P.M. at Frost Funeral Home. A crypt side funeral service will follow at Knollkreg Memorial Park. All those wishing to attend the service are asked to meet at the funeral home at 1:45 P.M.
