Dewey Worth Rash, 84, passed away on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at the Bristol Hospice House.
Dewey was born on October 15, 1936 to the late Lenmul and Emmer Canter Rash in Three Top, NC.
He spent most of his career as a welder. He loved and enjoyed listening to bluegrass music.
Including his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Ricky Rash; his sister, Wilma Mutter; and two brothers, Matthew and Virgil Rash.
Survivors include his loving wife of 60 years, Nora “Betty” Rash; two sisters, Sandra Rash and Etta Taylor; six brothers, Mack Rash, Roger Rash, Dean Rash, Leroy Rash, Ronnie Rash, Barney Rash and Greg Rash; one granddaughter, Kayla Rash; two great grandchildren, Morgan Rash and Mason Rash; also, many nieces and nephews.
A service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at Frost Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mike Canter officiating. A committal service will follow in the Greendale Chapel Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that memorial contributions be made to the funeral home.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
