Debra Lynn Rodham

Debra Lynn Rodham, 75, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2026. She was born on January 3, 1951, in Racine, Wisconsin to the late Gene Stewart and Marilyn Stewart-Landsberg and was the beloved oldest of eight children.


Debra was preceded in death by her parents and her devoted husband of 33 years, David Rodham.


Those left to cherish her memory include her sister, Pamela Stewart (Gary Crane); her brothers, Gary Stewart, Mark Stewart, Gene Stewart (Denise), Randy Stewart (Judy), John Stewart (Jennifer), Christopher Stewart; one daughter, Kristine Lathrop; grandson, Sebastian (Marissa) Stewart; and two precious great-grandchildren; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who loved her dearly.


Debra had a remarkable heart for God’s creatures. She lovingly opened her home to animals in need, adopting dogs, cats, ducks, chickens, and horses throughout her life. Her compassion for all living things was a testament to the kindness she carried in her soul.


A woman of deep and abiding faith, Debra devoted her life to God and her church communities. She was a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Bristol, Virginia and Christ the King Catholic Church in Abingdon, Virginia, where she found fellowship, purpose, and spiritual strength.


Debra will be remembered for her gentle spirit, unwavering devotion to her faith, her fierce love for her family, and the immeasurable care she gave to the world around her.


A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, January 9, 2026, at Christ the King Catholic Church, Abingdon, Virginia. Interment will be held privately.


Debra’s legacy of love, compassion, and faith will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
