Daniel Webster Boone

Daniel Webster Boone, 67, went to be with the Lord on August 26th, 2024. Danny was a lifelong resident of Washington County, Va., and a son of the late James L. Boone and Elizabeth Parris Boone.

Danny was a funny and outgoing person. He loved camping over his lifetime at Riverside Campground and enjoyed watching NASCAR.

Proceeded in death by mother Elizabeth Boone, Father James Boone, stepmother Willa Mae Boone; sister Mae Fritz, and brother in laws RC Fritz, Wayne Moretz, and Kyle Grimsley.

Survivors include daughter; Elizabeth Burke (Chris); sisters, Peggy Gilley (Jack), Eula Widener (Jerry), Brenda Morrison (Dean), Judy Grimsley (Keith), Jean Moretz (Wayne) and Diane Grimsley (Kyle); brothers, Jimmy Boone (Mary), Bobby Boone (Brenda); the mother of his daughter, Birdie Scott, and many special nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. on Friday, August 30, 2024, at Frost Funeral Home with a graveside service to follow in procession to Sunset Memorial Park with Pastor Randy Camper officiating. Those wishing to attend the graveside are asked to meet at the funeral home by 1:45 P.M. to go in procession.

 Pallbearers will be David Morrison, Tim Widener, Josh Boone, Jimmy Fuller, Danny Thomas, Jeff Hocket, and Tony (Ike Bum) Stanley and Lynn Widener.

The family will receive friends after the graveside service at the home of his brother, Bobby Boone.
