Curtis Ray Rasnake Sr, aged 78, passed away on 1/1/26 peacefully at his home surrounded by family. He was born on 11/3/47 in Amonate, Va to Leslie Remire Rasnake and Edith Rasnake (nee Spears).


He attended John Battle High School. He worked at Klopman Mills in Bristol, Tn for many years before transitioning to construction and roofing. He was of Baptist faith. An avid trout fisher, golfer, and lover of the outdoors. He was a lifelong Beatles fan and especially liked the song “a day in the life”. He loved playing cards with friends.


He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Ron Rasnake, and sister Sherry Rasnake.

He is survived by son Curtis Rasnake Jr, and wife Audra, Daughter Toby Anne Mock (whom he always referred to as his baby girl), and boyfriend Eddie Barker. Grandsons Wyatt Rasnake, and wife Tiffani, Lane Rasnake, and wife Amanda, Jared Davis, and wife Mylana. Great granddaughter Logan Rasnake, and great grandsons Remington Thompson, and Luke Rasnake. Brothers Robert Spears, and wife Dolly, Danny Rasnake, and wife Nancy, and sister Ginger Holmes (nee Rasnake), and husband Preston Holmes. Along with numerous nieces, and nephews. Two lifelong friends Don Goodson, and Keith Cross.


 As per his personal wishes there will be no services. His family would like to thank his numerous friends who were always by his side praying and offering their never-ending support.


He will always be remembered for his bigger than life personality, countless crazy stories, and his crazy antics. Thank you all for the calls, and messages.
