Crystal Lynn Woods Norris, 42, of Bristol VA, passed away unexpectedly on April 10th, 2024, at Bristol Regional Medical Center. 

Crystal was a registered nurse and previously worked in labor and delivery before moving on to work in clinical documentation integrity. 

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Jeremy Norris, daughter, Ruby Norris, her parents, Tina and Rick Woods, and her sisters, Amber Widener and Kim Kelly.  She will forever be in our hearts. 

The wind through the trees feels different now. The grass doesn't sway the same way. This world is not the place it was before. Your loss is known and felt deeply, though many can’t fathom the breath of that loss. The small number you let get close to you know its vastness. You did so much for us and asked so little for yourself. You were a beautiful light when the rest of us found ourselves in darkness. The life you gave our daughter was wrapped in love and all encompassing. Our lives have been enriched by the time we were fortunate enough to have with you. You don’t have to worry any longer. You gave us enough love for several lifetimes, so your heart can rest now. Go now my love, find your peace and be free. We hope to find you walking barefoot through the woods, near your moss-covered house. That's where you'll find your happiness now. Until we meet you there, know that you will be loved forever, and never forgotten.

 A small celebration of life will be held for Crystal at Frost Funeral Home in Abingdon, VA on Tuesday, April 16th from 5:00PM to 7:00PM.
